Where Curiosity Led Me

Sometimes we travel to discover a place. Sometimes we discover ourselves along the way.

Places · Where Curiosity Led Me

When I first arrived in Spain, I thought I was simply exploring a new country. I had no idea that each journey would quietly shape the person I was becoming.

Some places drew me because of their history. Others because someone invited me to visit. A shepherd led me into the hills. A family welcomed me into their home during the saffron harvest. An artist opened the door to his studio. A hidden pharmacy revealed more than a century of quiet dedication. Again and again, I discovered that the places I remembered most were inseparable from the people I met there.

Looking back, I realize I wasn't collecting destinations. I was collecting experiences, conversations, and moments of trust. Every invitation into someone else's world changed the way I understood Spain and, little by little, changed me as well.

These stories aren't about famous landmarks or places to visit. They are about the journeys that taught me to slow down, look more closely, and appreciate the extraordinary hidden within ordinary places.

Because sometimes a place doesn't simply become part of your memories. Sometimes it becomes part of who you are.
